Hello again ! I welcome you back, dear reader, and hope to assure you dear reader that my pauses in updating this blog do not come from neglect or lack of care. If I had to attribute it to anything, it would be some combination of a lack of things for me to talk about, and a quite unfortunate lack of passion which has affected a great deal of my day to day life. This slump is most probably due to the absence of any routine for me to hold myself to, as my internship which I have discussed in prior blogs has ended (momentarily, at least), something I neglected to mention in my previous update. Regardless, my lack of updates does not mean that there is an entire lack of topics for me to discuss.

Firstly, I see no better place to start than with some of the things I brought up with my last blogpost. As expected, I have been greatly enjoying my PlayStation Vita. I have figured out how to stream it onto my PC, and share that which I am playing on discord. That being said, I have not yet had the time or inclination to get an auxiliary cord for it, and as such I have no way of sharing the audio output of the device as of yet. I will also say that my switching to a five-day injection cycle for my HRT has been nice so far, although it did mean I had to get for myself more suplies with which to inject, as the prescription I am currently under was under the assumption that I would be injecting on a seven-day cycle. I expect I won’t have anything more to say about my injections unless some new concern or change happens with my injections.

Now, as stated in the title, I will soon be going on a trip to a lake ! More specifically, I was invited to a multi-day trip to a lakefront property owned by one of my partner’s families. The trip will be occuring later this décade, from the 27th to 29th (14th-16th). I must confess that I am not entirely sure what I should expect, as I have not had many experience like this one before (save perhaps, for a party I was invited to in mid-Messidor (early July) which it now dawns on me I have somehow not mentioned on this blog). I promise, dear reader, that I shall endevor to share some of the lake trip with you all, though I imagine there will be a number of details I will either forget or neglect to mention.

While it is still far on the horizon for me, something I feel is worth mentioning is that my next and final semester of university is approaching. I will be glad to have a lightened load this semester, a reward for my hard work in previous years. That being said I do feel somewhat ill-at-ease with this approaching semester. Part of this is, doubtlessly, needless nerves as I have already all but finished with all that is required of me, including a capstone assignment which will surely be harder than that which awaits me. There is also, however, the looming shadow of what I will be doing after I graduate university. I have a vague idea of my plans to find work at an archive or museum (in an ideal scenario), but I remain unsure as to the exact next steps. Along with that concern, there is an issue a good deal more personal which I may have to navigate when I return to my university (some of those close to me will understand what I am referring to, and why I am hesitent to mention it here). Regardless, I am excited to be done with my first stint at university, and what might come of it in the future.
