Oh ! How fatigue grips me ! Even as I write the events of the day have worn on me to the point I find it difficult to sit at my computer, with my bed beckoning beside me. And yet, I feel compelled to write of the day’s events to you, dear reader, and I feel the price I have paid to be well worth it. As you may be able to surmise, I visited a museum today ; before I get to that, however, there are a few other affairs I have wish to discuss.
Firstly, I am delighted to report that I have found a new cane for myself ! I believe I have some number of blog posts ago discussed my old cane, and how it unfortunately broke. Happily, I have found myself a new cane to use, which can be difficult owing to my above-average height. Already it has proved a faithful companion, and one I am ever-so-grateful to have found.
Another matter I had to attend to today was that of my French Revolution class. I have already discussed at some length the game which I and the rest of the students have been embroiled in. This session was a particularly taxing one, with three separate riots in a 90-minute class. Along side the riots, of course, there was no shortage of shouting and argument. While the session was not the worse I have had, that is not a very high bar.
Lastly, and most wonderfully, I visited a local art museum today ! In particular, I had been recommended an exhibit on the Czech artist Alphonse Mucha by one of my classmates, and I found myself simply compelled to go. It was an absolutely incredible experience ; Arte Nouveau is one of my favorite artistic styles, and the entire exhibit was extremely beautiful. Below are some pictures I took while visiting the exhibit, taken on my 3DS.
I wish you well, dear reader, and I must now take my leave. Sleep calls to me yet still, and I find myself excited at the prospect of rest after all I have done today. Farewell until next time, and may your days be bright.
